About Allison Lee
Allison Lee was born in South Korea where she started learning the flute at the age of 8. She moved to America and continued to play the flute by joining school band programs. She was part of the All-State band for 5 consecutive years and found her passion in music. She went on to pursue a bachelor’s degree in flute performance from Columbus State University. During her undergrad, she won master classes from the world class flutist, Jasmine Choi and Emmanuel Pahud. She won 3rd place in the Atlanta Flute Club competition, and won 2nd place in the Alexander Buono international competition.
She moved to New York after her undergrad to pursue a Master’s degree from New York University for music therapy. She has developed her career as a music therapist as well as a flute teacher. Many of her students have gone on to win Governor’s Honor Program and All-State competitions.

About Emily Gabitas
Emily Gabbitas was born in Johns Creek, Georgia and has been playing the flute since 10 years old. After moving to Utah, she was one of the three flutes picked in the state to perform with the Utah Symphony in their youth all-star collaboration concert. Emily has played for many world-renowned flute performers and teachers, including Christina Smith (principal flute of Atlanta Symphony Orchestra), Sarah Shin (flute professor at PrincetonUniversity), and Sharon Sparrow (assistant principal fluteof the Detroit Symphony Orchestra). Recently graduated from Georgia State University with a master's in flute performance, studying under Jessica Petrasek, Emily plans to broaden her experience in teaching flute in the Atlanta area, as well as continuing to perform in chamber and large ensemble groups.
About Victor Yaowen Zhang
Dedicated and versatile music educator and performer with over five years of experience in
performance, teaching, and reed making. Proven success in collaborating with orchestras,
performing contemporary and classical works, and organizing solo and ensemble recitals.
Skilled in introducing new students to woodwind instruments, including bassoon, clarinet,
and saxophone, with over 20 bassoon students successfully taught in one year post-
graduation. Extensive experience teaching undergraduate solo and chamber music, with a
focus on reed making and instrument maintenance.
Passionate about inspiring musical interest, building strong practice habits, and bridging
Chinese and Western educational approaches to foster a deep appreciation for music.
Committed to supporting composers and premiering new works in concert settings.
